Saving sealife from certain death

We watched a Mylar balloon float into the ocean and the kids could not function until they removed it and disposed of it properly.

The ocean animals are safe once again!!

Morning walk

We took a lovely walk this morning and saw seals and many types of birds we don't see in cda!

Good to be back on home territory!!

Pismo Beach

We are back at a favorite hotel in Pismo!


This is our suite with two rooms, two bathrooms and THREE beds.

The kids got warm cookies when we checked in. We unpacked then walked the lovely garden path down to the ocean and played on the beach.
Then back to the hotel for ping pong, on the deck, followed by a dip in the hot tub while we watched the sunset into the pacific.

Ahhhhhh......

I probably should have snapped a pic of our ocean view.... Maybe tomorrow :)

Shells

Walking on the beach in pismo is one of our all time favorite activities.

And today did not disappoint The shells; Jamie's favorite part, were plentiful today!!

Unfortunately one of her treasures was damaged in cleaning but we got a picture of the soft shell clam shell for prosperity.

Robb took some hopefully beautiful beach shots which I was going to upload while the kids were treated to a movie in the hotel tonight.
BUT the in room movies were 14.99 and no DVD player was provided so we hooked up my computer to the tv so the kids could get their movie and we could still afford dinner.

Sooooo..... no beach pictures tonight :(
