Our bird nerd, resident animal expert, and lover of nature has too grown up in amazing grace over the past 5 1/2 years.
I'm not sure how we will use these spaces and if the kids will take over the writing but I had to get a picture up of my girl in her element.

At McKinney Falls I saw caterpillars, butterflies, and HUGE beetles.

November 15

I wrote a letter to my friend and thought I'd share the story with all of you:

We're in Texas, heading to Austin.

I am going to tell you what happened a few weeks ago. We were driving then Daddy said "Why is my is my truck trying to pass me." Mommy looked out the window and said "The tow bar is dragging."

What happened is that the tow bar had broken! Mommy and Daddy went outside to look at it.
