The first of the cameras that captured the pigs had been downloaded!
Here are a couple pics of our new friends.
Notice those of us safely admiring them from the dinghy?
We did grow more comfortable, but it took a little while.
Some things I'm glad I got a picture of, and some things I'm glad there were no cameras available;
case in point - docking in Spanish Cay.
We arrived in Spanish Cay later than planned, the pigs and rays had detained us. The wind was picking up and the clouds were gathering, we had headed this way specifically to have a safe and comfortable shelter from the expected storm.
The dock master was contacted and instructed us to pull in right next to our friends on Blue By You who were on deck and available to help.
Ok, showtime, we were feeling fairly confident in our deck skills and were ready to try this new kind of dock with it's narrow pilings looked new, but doable.
We pull in and the dock master calls for a line that I am holding, I snap to attention and hurry over to give it to him.... and trip gloriously smashing my knee, my wrist, and my pride. I did jump up and recover faster than most people's eye and could have not shared the story but it was too funny not to.
I'm not sure if the neighbors witnessed my graceful dive, but they didn't come out of their cabin to either confirm or deny.
I also fell on the stairs on the dock coming home from Pizza Pizazz, and tried to use three stairs in the cabin where there are only two so when Jamie fell down the stairs into my state room this morning I couldn't help but laugh.
Grandma is so proud to have her legacy living on.
